Dr. Parvinder Gupta

Dr. Parvinder Gupta is an Educator and Professor of Organizational Behaviour. She earned her Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur).

Her primary academic interest is in the basic and applied research on human behavior in different socio-cultural settings and varied organizational contexts. Her teaching, consulting  and research interests are in the fields of Leadership, Team development and excellence, Individual and Interpersonal dynamics, Organizational transformation and Culture related issues.

She was a Professor in the Organizational Behaviour area at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) from 1997 to 2026. At IIMA, she held many key positions such as Chairperson of Organizational Behaviour area, Chairperson of the Armed Forces Programme, and was a member of various committees including Placements, Admissions, Executive Education (MDP), PGP Review, PGPX Executive, and Policy and Perspective.

Her publications include two books and a number of articles and research papers.  She has written several teaching cases. She has been recipient of awards for ‘The Best Teacher’ and ‘The Best Research Paper’. 

She has vast experience of designing, developing and conducting short term as well as long term management education programmes for top and senior executives and officers of government, public, and private sector organizations.
