Professor Martin Haran is Professor of Real Estate and Urban Studies at Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment, Ulster University in the UK. His expertise spans real estate investment, urban development, housing markets, infrastructure planning, and the financial performance of the built environment.
Over two decades, Professor Haran has published extensively and collaborated with governments, industry bodies, the EU and other global real estate organizations to deliver evidence-based insights for policy, strategy, and investment. He has led large applied research projects on property development, regeneration, sustainable urban growth, and enhancing real estate asset performance, with numerous peer-reviewed publications bridging academia and industry.
